Delete your Folks account
You can delete your Folks account and all data associated with it at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
In the app
- Open Folks and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm, then re-enter your password (or confirm your Google account).
- Your account and all its data are deleted immediately.
Without the app
If you no longer have the app installed, you can request deletion by email. Send the message from the email address linked to your account, and we will delete it within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in account and email address.
- Your username (it becomes available to other people).
- All your wallets and their widgets.
- Photos you uploaded.
- Contacts you saved.
The public web pages of your wallets stop working immediately.
What we keep
Nothing. After deletion we retain no personal data. Residual technical logs held by our infrastructure provider (Google) are erased on their standard schedule.
